Imperial Heating offers in-house rebates — ask at your quote. We don't file government rebate paperwork for customers. Some government programs, including the Home Renovation Savings heat-pump rebate, are submitted by a contractor registered with that program; others, like Save on Energy's Energy Affordability Program, you apply to yourself. The program details below are the program's own rules as of September 2026.
$500 Imperial Heating Home Comfort Rebate
$500 cash back when you buy a new Kepler furnace and a new Kepler air conditioner together, installed by Imperial Heating.

The honest version: rebates today reward switching to a heat pump, not replacing like-for-like. A heat pump qualifies; a standard furnace or air conditioner does not. And because the program ties the amount to your current heating fuel, a gas-heated Toronto home is eligible for less (up to $2,000) than one heated by electricity, oil, propane or wood (up to $7,500). Under the program's rules, the heat-pump rebate only applies when a contractor on its participating list installs the heat pump and submits the application.

Own your home and confirm your current heating fuel — oil, propane and electric qualify for the most.
Choose a cold-climate model on Natural Resources Canada’s qualified products list.
The application is submitted by a contractor on the program’s participating list and approved before any work begins.
The participating contractor installs the heat pump to program standards.
The contractor completes a post-installation application, and the program mails the rebate cheque once it is approved.
