No — that's the point of a ductless system. A wall-mounted indoor unit connects to an outdoor compressor through a small refrigerant line run through an exterior wall, so it works in additions, older homes without ducts, or converted spaces where running new ductwork isn't practical.

How quiet is the M-Series really?

Mitsubishi rates the indoor unit as low as 19 dB(A) at its lowest fan speed, which is close to a quiet library. Even at higher fan speeds it stays well below the noise level of most window units or central system vents.

Can one system cool multiple rooms?
